Hello.

I’m an academic turned consultant, founder, and tech-product builder. I love untangling messy problems where code, data, and business strategy overlap. I currently work as the Lead Product Principal at a scale-up.
My background spans:
- Academic Research: A PhD in Engineering (Systems Biology) from Imperial College London.
- Management Consulting: Designing and delivering over 25 strategic engagements.
- Corporate Leadership: Serving as a Head of Strategy and Digital Innovation.
- Entrepreneurship: Founding (and closing) EduStart-180.
During my university years, I also spent several years as a culture editor and art critic, writing on visual art exhibitions and theatre history.
What I'm Up To Today
Currently based in London, I divide my professional time between helping companies becoming AI native and advising businesses on strategy and product execution; I currently serve as the Lead Product Principal / Lead AI consultant at a tech scale-up.
Outside of these roles, my active focus is split between a stealth venture and public side projects:
Building in stealth
If the phrase "software infrastructure for the commoditised intelligence era" resonates, explore the portfolio or get in touch.- Passion Projects: Building and shipping Keepsakes.photos and MapPrints.
- The Archive: Maintaining or breathing new life into past passion projects (like Article, Journify, Apple Music Export, and AreaWise) to archive and share their stories.
Outside of work, I'm usually running, daydreaming about high-altitude Himalayan treks, collecting far too many Russian and French books, and building side projects that will likely never leave a private repository.
Curiosities & Preferences
I love open source—but deeply admire the benefit of decisions made by people paid to make them!
- KDE: When I need to get work done.
- Omarchy: When I need to look like I know what's happening.
- Arch: When I like to live dangerously.
