My Wavelength in Class

I sat in the last row

gazing at my watch

waiting for the hand

to reach the last

my gaze was set

my concentration at best

organic inorganic were

words that crossed my mind

but chemistry was all above my kind

the bell had rung

my mind was at rest

grabbing my things my mind crossed

                      the fact that this school had taught
