The Life a Man Needed
In silence perched the wondrous bees
what beauty they show, that ones eye believes
humming and bee-ing in silence
making the story seen worth rememberence
moving in and out of the hive they built
trying so hard to remove the deposited silt
they are working so hard, hard for their house
the wind bearing warning for remorse
on the first drop of rain that landed
their work their house destroyed
the wind, the warning it brought heeded
oh this rain! from this could they be joyed?
leave along, the rain had gone
leaving their hive now to the wrecked sun
broken and destroyed to the last
the bees needed to find a shade very fast
they moved along to another tree
for them, unlike us,the world so free
the built their hive from scratch all anew
on the trees in which the rain left its dew
should man also do the same
leave his nest and be so lame
should he enter this earth, to come and go
what then the meaning of life would he know
